Our dogs never complain about a stay at the "puppy motel," Blue Ribbon Kennel. They always have a barkingly good time and never come home smelling like a kennel. Both dogs are excited when they arrive at Blue Ribbon and greet the owners and staff like the old friends they are.
We feel secure leaving our pets Daisy, a 16-lb. wire haired fox terrier, and McDuff, a 55 lb. Airedale, knowing that they will be well cared for. The folks at Blue Ribbon know them and their weird terrier temperments and like them anyway! We never hesitate to tell our friends that this is one of the best kennels in the area and always make our reservations early in order to make sure we don't have to leave the dogs anywhere else.

We wouldn't take our dog, Wheatie, anywhere but Blue Ribbon Kennels. Scott, Amy, and the entire staff have really taken the time to get to know our dog, and we know she's getting the best possible care and attention every minute she's there.
Wheatie was a stray and was abused before we found her, and as a result she's scared of almost everyone--but not the staff at Blue Ribbon Kennels! They have gone the extra mile to make her feel safe and comfortable, which makes us feel comfortable every time we leave her there. They're the best!

My husband and I have boarded our dogs at Blue Ribbon Kennels since we moved to the area twelve years ago, and we have always been pleased with the care they receive. The runs and other areas are clean, and the dogs come home healthy and happy. We will continue to board our dogs at Blue Ribbon because we know that Scott, Amy, and crew will take excellent care of them.

We have boarded our three dogs at Blue Ribbon Kennels multiple times over the past several years along with having one of my dogs groomed by Amy. Each visit we have been satisfied with not only the cleanliness and safety of the facility, but with the attention our three dogs get. It is obvious to us that time is spent with them, as when we pick them up they are calm and content, rather than agitated as they have been at the end of stays at other kennels.
Now, when we bring them into Blue Ribbon, they head straight back to the corner where their "room" is located without any fuss or distress. We also really appreciate that all three of our dogs can be boarded in the same "room" and bring their favorite toys so that they may play together as at home. They also like their walks in the woods, Science Diet, and a nightly cookie before bed.
We enjoy our trips much more knowing that our dogs are safe, well cared for and enjoying a "vacation" of their own at the Blue Ribbon Kennel.

My Chocolate Lab, Brittany, has been staying with Scott and Amy at Blue Ribbon Kennels since she was 9 months old. She is currently 9 years old and considers Blue Ribbon Kennels her second home. Looking for a good kennel is similiar to finding a good day care because you have the same concerns regarding the type of attention and care you pet will receive as would your child. I was fortunate to find a GREAT kennel, Blue Ribbon!
