What is Doggy Daycare?
Thousands of pet owners work all day, and this requires leaving your dog home alone. Often these owners come home to a stressed out dog, rampant destruction (either of the house or the yard) and complaints from your neighbors of barking and howling. The prime reason that this happens is due to separation anxiety.
One of the top ten reasons given at an animal shelter for owner turn-ins is "he/she destroys my things when I'm not home." This could be prevented so easily with doggy daycare!
When your dog is with us, they will have their own indoor quarters with a pet cot for naps, water, treats and food if desired. You may bring any belongings from home that will make them most comfortable. We provide walks on our 4 acre "Waggin' Tail Trails" and playtimes in our 6000 sq.ft. dog park either with or without playpals.
Most dogs love to socialize with others and we carefully select the play groups. The BRK staff closely supervises playgroups. We have all kinds of toys, frisbees, etc., or you may feel free to bring your own. We ask that you label your dogs toys to insure that they are returned upon pick up. If your dog is the kind that just wants to be held (or just wants a nice massage) we can spend time with them to make sure they get the attention they need. We do not allow non-neutered dogs in playgroups.

About Our Daycare Staff
Our fully-staffed facility offers much for the social dog. Often, the number of dogs on a day at these places can be from ten to twenty dogs, all ready to make friends. Trained staff keep the dogs busy in outdoor play, or even, in some cases, happily munching snacks (healthy, of course!), or watching movies made just for the entertainment of dogs. Activities might include "hide and seek" or "tag" or anything that canine minds can come up with. Our staff is trained to deal with any outbreak of aggression that may result. Bea at ease to know that we also have a standing agreement with our local veterinarian should an emergency arise. We are certified in animal first aid and CPR.
